Rome and my Heart

By Meryl Viola Bravo, M.A
What made me desire to travel the world?  What was the love of my heart to want to see the world?  What was the driving promise of my heart?  A FATHER who keeps His promises!

I fell in love with a man who loved my heart more than his own.  My heart was so well when he looked upon my heart and knew where my heart would only beat as one.  One with the man of my heart.  One with the oneness of my heart.  Rome, my heart.  Rome, the Eternal City of my heart.  Rome and Home of my heart.  Rome.

I went to Rome and left my country and said, “I am going to my Rome, my Home, my Heart.”

Why is Rome so Eternal a City of my heart?

I know the Eternity of a City of God and I know the Eternity of a City where Rome is the Home of my heart.  My Father lives here.  This is where the heart of my father abides.  Here in Rome.  Rome, my sweet Home.  Home.  Rome.  My Heart.

I saw my Father, when my heart saw him in a tomb at rest.  And I knelt in adoration of a father, who is the Beloved Son and Spirit of my heart.  The Spirit of my heart is Rome.  Where my Father abides and lives in my heart.
When does a Daughter know she is loved by her Father?
When does a Daughter know she is loved by a man of her heart?

A Daughter of Rome, my heart is a loved woman and a daughter she is, in the heart of Rome.
A Daughter of Rome, my home.
A Daughter of Rome, where my Father abides in my heart.
A Daughter of Rome, my heart.
And here abides the Daughter of the Church and the Church is the Bride of Rome.
