Grilled Fish and the Penitential Rite

Grilled Fish from Seafood City, Rancho Cucamonga, California  Photo by Meryl Viola Bravo  July 2026 When our Lord was at the seashore waiting for his disciples after a serious sorrow of despondence from the death of His body, He asks them if they caught any fish? The Lord of all-knowing knew His disciples would hear His sorrow.  And at the coming, Peter, the Rock, knew, "It is the Lord." In his Rock faith, he is the first to meet our Lord at the seashore.  And there is cooked fish ready for a meal again. At the Penitential Rite, He asks the Rock of his love for God. And three times, the Rock is firm. Meryl Viola Bravo
