Pope Benedict XVI dies at 95, December 31, 2022, 9:34 a.m., Rome Vatican, Italy, EWTN

It has come to the close of the American Calendar for the year 2022 and it has delivered the Eternal Rest of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI also known as Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger.

His Pontificate from 2005 to 2013 has performed an examination of conscience on the Divine Plan of His passing.

It is now evident to me that I am a Daughter of the Church.

In thanksgiving for His succession and Pontificate, I give Him my writings and serious endeavors to follow Christ, His Vicar here on Earth.

Eternal Rest grant unto Him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon Him.  May His soul and the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.  Amen.
