Advent Reflections, First Friday, December 3, 2021

When entering into Scripture and contemplating the Eternal Word at the disposition and right heart of consideration for witness and action, I discovered writing as a form of relationship developed in prayer and action.  Writing is work.  Work provides an accomplished deed of action.  Who does not write to perform a movement in action?

There is a question in this Advent Gospel Reflections published by Word on Fire by His Excellency Bishop Robert Barron and a response is moving the heart towards a direction.  The question asked me if I truly believed that God answers our prayers.  To truly believe.  The Heart is moved to respond.

Do I hear my heart moved by this question?

Yes.

And who is asking me?

A Bishop.

What is a Bishop?

The Shepherd.
